Alford Florida Brother and Sister Arrested for Battery-Domestic Violence

On 9-28-20 at approximately 5:02 p.m.  The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office responded to a physical altercation in the Compass Lake area. During the course of the investigation the responding Deputy learned that brother and sister, James Starling and Emerald Armstrong, became involved in a verbal dispute, which led to a physical altercation. Both participants engaged in aggressive action against the other and both had injuries resulting from the altercation. Both Starling and Armstrong were arrested and charged with Battery; Domestic Violence and lodged in the Jackson County Correctional Facility to await first appearance.
