Alford Florida Man Arrest for Driving While License Suspended

          On Friday, March 20, 2020, a Deputy with the Uniform Patrol Division was conducting proactive patrols on Compass Lake Drive and observed an ATV being operated on a public roadway. 


A traffic stop  was conducted and the Deputy made contact with the driver, identified as Christopher Lee Benefield. The Deputy requested Benefield's driver's license and Benefield advised the Deputy that he had no license.


  A check of DAVID and FCIC/NCIC  returned information that Benefield's license was suspended and he had two prior convictions for driving while license suspended or revoked.  Benefield was placed under arrest and transported to Jackson County Correctional Facility to await first appearance.
