BIRMINGHAM: An apparent argument over parking spaces Sunday afternoon left three people shot, one of them fatally.
The gunfire erupted about 2:15 p.m. in the 3700 block of 42nd Street North. Sgt. Rod Mauldin said East Precinct officers arrived to find 42-year-old Michael Alexander McGee lying on the side of the road suffering from a gunshot wound.
McGee was taken by Birmingham Fire and Rescue Service to UAB Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Mauldin said the condition of the other two wounded victims is unknown.
