Bay County Man in Custody for Grand Theft of Fleeing and Eluding

The Bay County Sheriff’s Office has taken Scott Mario Lombardi into custody after he fled from deputies and barricaded himself into his residence at 5757 Callaway Chase Circle in Callaway.


After receiving a complaint that Lombardi had stolen a vehicle, BCSO deputies attempted a vehicle stop. Lombardi fled and tried to ram a patrol vehicle as he got away to his residence on Callaway Chase Circle. There he barricaded himself inside. Warrants were obtained for Lombardi for Grand Theft.



BCSO SWAT and a negotiator joined deputies on scene. Lombardi, age 41, was subsequently taken into custody. He now faces charges additional to Grand Theft of Fleeing and Eluding and Aggravated Assault on a LEO.
