BIRMINGHAM ALABAMA: Just before 10:00 a.m., officers responded to a call of two people shot on I-65 Southbound just before the 4th Avenue South exit.

Officers arrived and discovered a car that collided with a concrete barrier. Inside, were two victims that were struck multiple times by gunfire.

Those victims were transported to UAB with serious injuries. It appears the victims were possibly targeted.
