BONIFAY MAN CHARGED WITH METHAMPHETAMINE POSSESSION

HOLMES COUNTY – A traffic stop resulted in the arrest of a Bonifay man Sunday, March 22.


A deputy with the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office conducted the stop on Highway 79 just north of Highway 2 and made contact with the driver and a passenger who was identified as 39-year-old Phillip D. Weeks.


During the course of the stop, Weeks, was found to be in possession of a baggie of methamphetamine on his person.


Weeks, who was out on bond for a previous drug arrest, was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine
