Boutique CBD Store Celebrates Grand Opening

Dothan, AL — A new Dothan retailer and boutique cannabidiol (CBD) brand, Well Rooted invites the public to celebrate its grand opening on Friday, Oct. 25 from 4 to 8 p.m. 



“When we came up with the concept for Well Rooted, that engaged with the community while creating a platform to distribute our own brand of CBD products.,” owner, Seaborn Wood IV, said. “We hope that we have created a store that promotes positivity and creativity...where people feel comfortable shopping and bringing their kids.”



In keeping with their vision, the grand opening celebration will be a family-friendly event. Attendees will enjoy live music, drinks and food from Peckham’s Food Truck. Local artists, Cheri Carrington, Rachel Herring, Mary Clayton Rach and John Martin Stickler, will be on hand to discuss their artwork, which is showcased in the store. Additionally, 10 percent of sales from the day will be donated to Samaritins Clinic at Love in Action in Dothan. Shoppers can further support the charity by entering to win pieces of art donated by the artists in house. Raffle tickets can be purchased during the event for $5 each. 



Well Rooted is the brain-child of husband-and-wife team, Alexis & Seaborn Wood IV. Alexis is a nurse practitioner and Seaborn is a designer and entrepreneur. Inspired by their South Alabama upbringing and the influence of the Florida Panhandle, the Woods sought to develop a brand that would offer products that promote healthy and happy lifestyles. They have worked with trusted harvesters and growers to create their own line of boutique quality CBD products. Unlike most CBD companies, Well Rooted’s products are derived from organically grown, medical-grade, hemp plants. 



“We are involved in every level of our product development, from soil to oil,” Wood said. “We have worked hard to provide our customers with a superior product for less money.”
