HOUSTON COUNTY:     First I think Brandy White is doing a good job as Superintendent of the Houston County Schools. But l was shocked today that apparently Brandy White is not capable of managing the school system without bringing back retired Houston County School Superintendent Tim Pitchford.

When I followed the buses into the Career Center and was asking who to talk to about today's exercise, I was referred to several people. And one of those was Tim Pitchford.

It was then I learned that Tim Pitchford, his Executive Secretary Mrs. Hooper and others who had retired were back working in the school system.

They are drawing their retirement and a check to work part time for the Houston County Schools.

VIRTUAL ALABAMA 

The State of Alabama instituted a program a number of years ago called Virtual Alabama. This system allowed law enforcement the ability to remote into the school camera system in the event of an emergency while units were responding.

Then Superintendent Tim Pitchford refused to allow Virtual Alabama to be used. It was reported to me that Pitchford said he was not going to have it where people could remote in and look at the teachers.

The reason for the Virtual Alabama was not to spy on teachers but in the event of an emergency to be able to view and keep responding units updated on the location of the bad guys, and hopefully save children.

Brandy White has Former School Superintendent in charge of that and making sure people live where they said they do in doing home visits. CAUTION - TIM PITCHFORD BETTER NOT COME TO MY HOUSE !!! 

WAS NOT AWARE BRANDY WHITE COULD NOT DO THE JOB WITHOUT THE OLD 

Former School Superitendent Tim Pitchford and others were furious when David Sewell won election after Pitchford. The old did everything possible to make Sewell fail. They fought him at every turn.

And that was because Sewell did not hire these retires in a recycling program. Brandy White recycled.

This mechanism of recycle prevents younger people from establishing a career in education. And that is why the home grown young people do not come back to Houston County.

Tim Pitchford did his time and retired. Not sure why Brandy can not handle it and has to bring people such as Tim Pitchford back and not give younger people a chance to begin a career.
