Burglary Suspects Apprehended in Geneva County

On 6/22/2020 Deputies were called to a residence on County Road 10 where a person was caught coming out of a house. The citizen held her there as her boyfriend fled the scene leaving the vehicle he had borrowed from his mother.
The items they were taking were smaller items old tools, what-nots, vases, old jewelry, jars, dishes, etc.
Both persons have been charged with Burglary and Theft of Property. During the course of the investigation other items were discovered that our victims says are not his. They are similar items. The house they broke into the owner lives a couple of hours away and his relative was checking on the house when he discovered the crime.
Arrested were Louie Clements and Dayna Payne. If you have a residence in the area and it has been burglarized and small items were taken please call us. Some of the items taken may be yours or from a relatives home that is currently unoccupied.
