HODGESVILLE: 8:14 PM Houston County Sheriff 911, at 7:34 PM, dispatched Hodgesville Fire, Cottoonwood Fire and Cottonwood Rescue to Zachary Road and Willie Varnum Road. The call was a white male occupying a white truck passed out at the wheel at a stop sign.
The responding units were advised to stage ( wait a area away from the scene ) until Deputies arrived and declared the scene safe.
Houston County Deputies were unable to locate the vehicle and all units were returned to service.
At 7:41 PM Houston County Sheriff 911 dispatched Hodgesville Fire to a fire alarm at 1118 East Saunders Road in reference to a fire alarm. So Hodgesville Fire left the person in the ditch call to respond to the fire alarm.
At 7:58 PM Houston County Sheriff 911 dispatched Cottonwood Rescue to a medical emergency on B.J. Mixon Road in Madrid.
At 8:04 PM Houston County Sheriff 911 dispatched Hodgesville Fire and EMS to George Road and Hooper Cherry Road to a white pickup, male subject passed out at the wheel subject is breathing. Hodgesville Fire saw the vehicle which it was in the ditch. Fire units, EMS and law enforcement officers are on the scene.
So if you are hearing a lot of sirens in the Saunders Road area to County Road 33 and to Madrid, these calls are why.
