Chief Paul Hudson Celebrates 25th Year Milestone

Help us celebrate Chief Paul Hudson’s 25th year career milestone serving the City of Andalusia.
Chief Hudson was hired by Chief Jerry Williamson in 1994. Hudson was promoted to rank of Patrol Sergeant in 1997 and then K9 Sergeant in 1998. Chief Williamson promoted Hudson to the rank of Lieutenant in 1999. Hudson was placed on the Covington County 22nd Judicial Circuit Drug Task Force as a Lieutenant in 2003. After serving 9 years in the Drug Task Force, Hudson transferred back into patrol as a Lieutenant in 2012 before being promoted to Chief by Mayor Earl Johnson in the year 2013. Chief Hudson obtained a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice at Troy University in 2011, as well as, becoming a graduate of FBI NA Class 223.
Andalusia Police Department are proud to work alongside with Chief Paul Hudson. Chief Hudson is a great example of what it means to be a leader. He is committed to the City of Andalusia and this agency. He remains dedicated to his commitment and we look forward to the growth and accomplishments under his leadership.
