Chipley Fl Arrested for with Possession Of Methphetamine

PINELOG - On April 13, 2021, a deputy stopped a blue Dodge truck for speeding on Hwy 81. The driver was identified and found to have a suspended license.
While the deputy was writing a citation K9 Lasso was deployed to conduct a free air sniff of the vehicle. K9 Lasso alerted to the presence of illegal narcotics in the vehicle.
The back-seat passenger who was identified as Louie Flowers from Chipley, Florida exited the vehicle with a big styrofoam cup in his hands.
The deputy asked Flowers to open the lid on the cup and when he did the deputy observed a plastic bag in the cup that contained marijuana.
The deputy took possession of the cup and pulled out the bag and located another plastic bag containing meth and two meth pipes inside the cup.
Flowers was placed under arrest and charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
