HOUSTON COUNTY:    Recently Houston County resident Chris Love announced his intentions to seek election as Houston County Commissioner - District 2.


The incumbent in this race, Doug Sinquefield is not seeking re-election as Commissioner but seeking election as Chairman of the Houston County Commission. The current Houston County Commission Chairman, Mark Culver, is not seeking re-election.


Chris Love, a businessman and farmer in east Houston County states focus needs to be on business and on the AG Industry ( farmers ). 


Chris Love is plain spoken. He says what he means and does what he says.


Candidates will qualify in January 2022.


NOTE:   Chris Love announced several weeks ago his intentions to seek election. We have held the article because of Dothan Municipal elections and run off elections for Dothan Mayor, Associate Commissioners, Dothan School Board Chairman and School Board Members. People were getting confused.


District Two, Houston County Commission runs from Main and Oates in Dothan, or near there, and east down Cottonwood Road to Cottonwood, then north covering parts of Gordon, Pansey, all of Ashford, Cowarts and Cottonwood.
