Cottondale Fl man Charge with DUI

     Around 2300 hours on November 17, 2020 a Deputy with the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office was traveling on Penn Avenue and observed a vehicle pass another vehicle in a no passing zone. The Deputy conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and while making contact with the driver, identified as Roy Pepples Jr. The Deputy detected the odor of alcoholic beverage emitting from within the vehicle. The Deputy conducted a roadside investigation and concluded Pepples Jr. was to impaired to operate a motor vehicle. Pepples Jr. later provided a lawful sample of his breath which determined him to be over twice the legal limit for breath alcohol content.


Arrested:
 Roy Charles Pepples Jr., 34 years of age, Resident of Cottondale, FL


Charges:
 D.U.I. [Alcohol]
