COMMENTS


Slaughter classes steady to firm. Replacement bred cows and pairs steady. Calves and feeder cattle steady on the better quality cattle, a little lower on the plainer, lower quality calves. Very good activity in the market, with all buyers here and a strong demand. A very strange fed cattle market continues with major packers voluntarily raising their own bids this week from 110 to 120 . I guess it is just out of the goodness of their heart.
