 Slaughter classes steady to 3 higher  . Replacement bred cows and pairs steady .  Calves and feeder cattle steady to 4 lower. Still a lot of activity in the market.  All buyers here and all with orders but less money again . I still believe our market is solid, due to the outstanding demand worldwide for our BEEF, but rising grain prices are putting a lot of pressure on cattle prices, as well as rising transportation cost due to increased fuel cost. It is hard to understand falling cattle prices when dressed BEEF is at an all time high !! Fed cattle in the West 3 to 5 lower @118-120 with Iowa auction cattle to 126 !
