Dothan Man Arrested for Murder

The Dothan Police responded to the 800 blk of Williams Ave.


When officers arrived they found the victim, Terrance Ransom (18),  shot multiple times in a yard. Mr. Ransom  was pronounced dead on the scene. 


Investigators began to follow leads provided by the public and on-scene investigation.  In the early morning hours police developed a suspect and location.


The suspect, Brandon Fluellen (26)  was held up in a local hotel.  After police cleared the surrounding rooms, negotiators were utilized and Mr. Fluellen exited the room without incident.


Mr. Fluellen was charged with murder and  other arrest may follow with additional suspects. Mr. Fluellen is currently being held on no bond.


All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
