Dothan Man Arrested on Rape and Sodomy Charges

DOTHAN AL :On April 12, 2021, the Dothan Police Department was made aware of a sexual assault that took place at Dothan High School, 3209 Reeves Street, in Dothan.  The offenses occurred between March 8, 2021 and March 12, 2021.  As a result of the investigation, investigators arrested and charged Donovan Franklin as an adult with Rape 1st degree and two counts of Sodomy 1st Degree.  Due to the sensitive nature of the case, no further details will be released.  Additional arrests are possible.


Donovan Jamirr Franklin (17)- Rape 1st Degree and Two Counts of Sodomy 1st Degree.
