Dothan Man Charged with Sexual Abuse

DOTHAN CITY :On Monday, January 30, 2023, the Dothan Police Department began investigating an allegation of inappropriate sexual contact between an adult male and a juvenile under the age of 16. As a result of the investigation, the Dothan Police Department has charged 19 year old Froilan Joel Ramirez-Lopez of Dothan, with one count of Sexual Abuse First Degree and one count of Attempted Sexual Abuse First Degree. He is currently being held with no bond.
Due to the nature of this case and the Alabama Juvenile Privacy laws, no further information will be released about this case.
