DOTHAN: The registered voters of the City of Dothan will report to the voting precincts on Tuesday to cast their votes for persons to serve in every elected position on the City of Dothan Commission and City of Dothan School Board.
The polls will open at 7 AM and closed at 7 PM.
This is for the registered voters who reside within the 90.8 square miles of the City Limits of Dothan Alabama. This includes those who not only live in Houston County but in the city limits of Dothan, but those who live in Dale County that is within the city limits of Dothan.
On Monday we will post all of the voting locations. REMEMBER - some people vote at different locations for City of Dothan Municipal Elections then when they vote in County-State and National elections. Make sure you KNOW WHERE YOU VOTE.
Any questions call the Office of Mayor Mark Saliba at 334-615-3111 and they will direct you to the appropriate office to get your question answered.
The City of Dothan is a huge corporation with a budget of over $ 250 million dollars and almost 1,000 employees. Not sure of the budget of Dothan City Schools but I know in excess of 90 million dollars annually and no telling the number of employees.
So you the registered voters of the City of Dothan have an awesome task before you in making decisions who the public servants will be for the next four years. Who will lead the City of Dothan into the future in providing opportunities for jobs, growth, education and preparing children for their future.
RSN is the only media outlet to bring you Doth.an Mayor and Commission candidates, unedited, in a forum held at Montana School. To help you make some choices.
On Monday we will make some recommendations and provide you some information that you will need to know on some candidates.
Some of the things you will read tomorrow afternoon your reply will be "we would be freaking stupid" to elect that person. I did not know that.
Stay tuned tomorrow as we prepare that information.
