Driver Arrested on Drug Charges

On 06/23/2019 at approximately 7:20 P.M. an officer with the Marianna Police Department observed a green 2000 Chevrolet sedan traveling southbound on Gilmore Road with the driver failing to properly wear his seatbelt. The officer conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle for this traffic infraction. The driver of the vehicle, later identified as Antswin Lemark Lang of Marianna, was found to have an active warrant for his arrest out of Jackson County, Florida and was taken into custody.


During a search of Lang’s person, the officer was able to discover a bag containing cocaine. Lang was then taken into custody on the aforementioned charges. Antswin Lemark Lang is awaiting first appearance at Jackson County Correctional Facility.
