Early Morning Fire Destroys Shop

HOUSTON COUNTY: At about 03:46 AM Houston County Sheriff 911 dispatched Columbia Fire, Columbia Rescue and Webb Fire to 148 Angus Drive to a shop, fully involved with explosions.
The Columbia Fire Tanker experiences mechanical issues as they left the station.
On arrival Webb Fire Chief Jamar Ivey reported defensive mode only, structure fully involved.
Webb Fire cancelled Wiregrass Electric because it was only an electrical line from a breaker.
The man had been working in his shop and a vehicle or ATV. He connected something, a battery charger was discussed, to the fuel pump, which is believed to have caused the fire.
The shed and contents totally destroyed. Under the shed lawnmowers, ATV and other equipment to include propane tanks.
The on scene commander was Webb Fire Chief Jamar Ivey
Houston County Sheriff Deputies and Dothan-Houston County Emergency Management also responded.
