Employee In Gordon Terminated By A Unsigned Letter

GORDON:      Today an employee of Gordon was served a UNSIGNED letter stating his employment with the Town of Gordon was terminated.

They contacted me because there were allegations as to why the employee was terminated. But the first thing I saw was the letter was unsigned.

So I visited the Town of Gordon at the conclusion of the council meeting. Showed the Mayor of Gordon the unsigned letter attempting to verify if it was indeed a letter that was true and correct. The Mayor said it was and on Town of Gordon letterhead.

But as I was attempting to tell the Mayor before some loud mouth female was intervening saying he was Mayor Pro Tem, and I informed her I was not talking to her, anyone could get Town of Gordon letterhead. Was the letter true and correct because it did not contain a signature.

I could not get an answer that was true and accurate.

The employee said he was terminated because he could not get someone to sign a document.

I am not getting into why the Town of Gordon wanted the person to get a document signed but the employee said he was terminated because he could not get the document signed. Because those reasons contain accusations against someone and until proof of the authenticity of those allegations I am not going to say why. 

The new Magistrate “KNOWS THE LAW’ he said. And he was telling me articles in the past were lies. FUNNY … the people of Gordon tells the story, of which I have a lot of it on video. But it is not my intent to show them running around upset because I showed up. I was just trying to get a simple answer to a question for someone who was told they were fired and given a paper with no signatures.

As far as the employee knows Barney ( the purple cartoon character Barney ) could have written the letter when no one signed it.

That was all I was attempting to do.
