ENTERPRISE: On Saturday while driving in Enterprise we saw a large amount of young people. WORKING !!!
A site that is rarely seen, the Enterprise Football Team was GIVING BACK TO THE COMMUNITY!
How? By cleaning up trash and debris behind the Hardees on Rucker Boulevard, and up and down Apache Street. they did this with their coaches and other staff.
The team and coaching staff, they did not have any signs or billboards identifying who they were. They were quietly serving their community, showing their character and their hearts for giving back to the community.
Something that is rarely seen in our society today. Everyone is quick to be critical to young people but do not see how young people give back to their community, serve their community and will one day lead their community.
They set an example that we all should follow.
Coach Nick Saban mention it in his round table this past week. One of the reasons Coach Saban retired because students were more interested in how much they was going to be paid to play football and they didn't want the character building.
They didn't want the knowledge they just want the contracts.
Enterprise High School WILDCATS Coach, Randy Hart, staff and team showed that character building is not only important, but it's still going on in football programs around the Wiregrass.
Way to go Wildcats.
This is a victory we should all get behind.
