Enterprise Police Made Additional Arrest in Kidnapping Case

ENTERPRISE: On June 20, 2019, EPD Detectives arrested and charged Ivan Martinez, age 23, of Enterprise, AL with Extortion 1st Degree for his involvement in this offense.  Martinez was transported to the Coffee County Jail after arrest.


UPDATE:


The Enterprise Police Department has made an additional arrest in the June 17, 2019 kidnapping investigation.  During this investigation, it was determined the offender falsely reported his own kidnapping in an attempt to extort ransom money from a family member.  EPD Detectives arrested and charged Andrew Nunez on June 17, 2019 with False Reporting to Law Enforcement and Extortion 1st Degree.
