According to the City of Enterprise, the software system used by the city to process payments will be undergoing a system upgrade on June 29-30. This will cause the entire system to be down and impact several city departments.
"We will not be able to issue business licenses, permits, or take water payments during this time," Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer LeeAnn Swartz said. "Our online and phone payment system, as well as citizen self-serve will also be down. We encourage everyone to plan ahead and make their payments by Wednesday, July 28 or plan to come in the beginning of July."
Drop boxes, which can be found in front of Enterprise City Hall near the water department entrance and in the back of City Hall by the picnic tables, will be available for customers to leave payments; payments will be processed once the system is back up and running on July 3.
Swartz asked that visitors to the City Hall please be patient with staff as they learn the new operating system and cautions that wait times may be a bit longer than normal.
The City Hall's administrative offices will also be closed during this time, but other normal activities will continue throughout the city like trash pickup, public works and street department tasks, water field work, and Enterprise Parks and Recreation operations.
