Enterprise Women Charged with Attempted Murder

ENTERPRISE ALABAMA:On August 2, 2022, at 4:26 AM, the Enterprise Police Department responded to the 400 Block of Grimes Street on a call for a shooting at a residence. 


Responding Officers discovered a female victim with a gunshot wound to the back. The suspect fled the scene prior to Officers arrival.


  EPD Detectives determined the shooting occurred after an altercation between the suspect and the victim. 


The victim was transported to the hospital for treatment and is in stable condition.  At 6:35 AM, Patrol Officers apprehended the suspect after a brief foot pursuit.  EPD Detectives arrested and charged Evertt Santell Hornsby, age 41, of Enterprise, AL with Attempted Murder.
