Eufaula Alabama Shooting Investigation

A Eufaula man is being treated for a gunshot wound received in an afternoon shooting.
At 1343hrs Thursday afternoon, the Eufaula Communications Division received calls reporting a firearm assault at a business in the 3200 block of South Eufaula Avenue. Patrol Officers arrived and concluded a male subject had sustained a gunshot wound and was being transported to Medical Center Barbour via private vehicle. The 45-year-old male victim is being treated for a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the upper body at Medical Center Barbour.
The Criminal Investigations Division responded and an active investigation is underway. Anyone with any information that may contribute to the investigation is urged to call the Eufaula Police Department at 334-687-1200 or the Anonymous Tip Line at 334-687-7100.
