Florida Man Arrest for Drugs Possession

On January 14^th, 2020 at approximately 7:15am, officers with the Marianna Police Department responded to an address in the 2900 block of Sylvia Drive in reference to the report of a suspicious vehicle. Upon arrival, officers observed a male subject exiting the residence. Officers identified the subject as Buddy Wyatt and it was determined that Wyatt did not have permission to be inside the residence. 

 Officers discovered items that were believed to be taken from the house, inside Wyatt’s vehicle. During a consensual search of the vehicle, officers located several illegal narcotics. Officers located Clonazepam and Hydrocodone within the vehicle. Officers also located a used syringe and a clear container that was found to contain liquid methamphetamine. This case is still under investigation with potentially additional charges forthcoming.

 Wyatt was arrested on the above listed charges and transported to the Jackson County Correctional Facility to await first appearance.

Charges: Possession of a Controlled Substance (Clonazepam)

                 Possession of a Controlled Substance (Hydrocodone)
