Florida Man Arrested for Trafficking

    On Tuesday, December 3, 2019 members of the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at a residence under the control of Kevin Hobgood on Panhandle Road where Hobgood and his concubine, Stephanie Rossner, were suspected to be regularly distributing illegal narcotics. During the search warrant Investigators located large quantity of Crystal Methamphetamine, an assortment of items utilized in the distribution and use of Methamphetamine and a quantity of US currency that is suspected to be derived from the proceeds of the sale of Methamphetamine or intended to be utilized to purchase a quantity of Methamphetamine. Four other potential buyers, users, or co-distributors were also apprehended at the residence along with Hobgood and Rossner. The search warrant came as the result of numerous citizen complaints. Additional arrests are forthcoming as the investigation continues.
