We remind everyone that the State of Alabama is under orders by the State Health Officer regarding gathering of persons:


“All non-work related gatherings of 25 or more persons, or non-work related gatherings of any size that cannot maintain a consistent six-foot distance between persons is prohibited.”


Irresponsible gatherings cause our resources and attention to be drawn from our regular duties and puts attendees and our law enforcement officers and their families at risk. Adhering to the order should be everyone’s priority to help prevent the spread of infection of COVID-19. The longer we fail to abide by the Order, the longer we will be under the Order.



For the safety of our citizens, the Eufaula Police Department will enforce these promulgated rules by the ADPH under Code of Alabama 1975, 22-2-14.
