Great Team Effort that Led to Successful Capture

HOUSTON COUNTY :Yesterday evening, Deputies attempted a traffic stop on a reckless driver. After initially stopping the driver became argumentative with the deputy and fled the scene.


Vehicle had 3 occupants. Deputies pursued. During the pursuit the suspects were seen throwing evidence from the vehicle. After entering another county the vehicle stopped and the passenger fled in to the wood line.


Additional deputies arrived on scene. A tandem tracking team with K9 Jeanie (Hound) and K9 Sully (Malinois) along with an SRT tactical team were deployed. Suspect was located by K9 Jeanie hiding in a concealed position in bushes. K9 Sully was brought to the front and led the SRT team in for the non-bite apprehension. Great team effort that led to successful capture.
