Greenwood Florida man Charged with Fleeding or Eluding Law Enforcement

JACKSON COUNTY: In June of 2018, Frank Allen White Jr. was arrested in Jackson County and charged with two counts of Sale, Manufacture, or Delivery of Cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.


He was placed on community control, or house arrest, as a part of his plea agreement. Over the course of the following year, White violated his probation nine different times, including an incident


on February 21st of 2019 where he fled from Marianna P.D. Officers in a vehicle and on foot. White’s driver’s license was also suspended at the time. These violations resulted in a warrant being issued for his arrest for violation of state probation. The case was submitted to the U.S. Marshal Service for assistance in 2020.


Through investigative efforts, on April 14th it was determined that White was residing in a local motel with his girlfriend, Jo’Nisha Onika Widby. During a prior encounter, when attempting to locate White, Widby was advised that he was wanted and that she could be charged if she gave aid to, or harbored him. Investigators learned that the room was rented in Widby’s name and when contact was attempted, White and Widby refused to allow officers entry to the room.


Once access was gained, White was hiding in the bathroom and Widby refused to exit, even after being given numerous commands to do so. Once she was extricated from the room, she refused to cooperate and physically resisted officers. She was taken into custody and charged with resisting an officer without violence.


White was taken into custody without incident. Sheriff Donnie Edenfield would like to extend his sincere gratitude to the Florida Caribbean Regional Fugitive Task Force of the U.S. Marshal Service, the Bay County Sheriff’s Office, The Holmes County Sheriff’s Office, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, the Panama City Police Department, the Walton County Sheriff’s Office, and the Reserve Unit of the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office for their assistance in bringing this fugitive to justice.
