HARTFORD: Late Wednesday afternoon I received a call from a man in Hartford today.
Nothing to do with TATE’S SUPERMARKET in Hartford, but there was a white Ford F-250 in the parking lot.
The nice truck had signs on flags flying in the truck.
The signs were critical of President Joe Biden.
LET ME BE CLEAR … the caller seemed he did not support President Joe Biden.
LET ME BE CLEAR … I do not support Joe Biden and think that Joe Biden is like a vast majority of people elected, it in obvious no IQ test is required.
However what was wrong with the sign was the word just before Joe Biden’s name.
The person who called me said the word causes a lot of parents to have to explain to their children the meaning on the word before Joe Biden.
If you are the one with the sign, hey, a lot of folks agree with you totally that America has one of the sorriest Presidents of the United States ever. However, please change that word.
NOW, I am not preaching to you. I did the same thing one day not thinking as much about a shirt I wore about elected persons. One Judge said you had better not of wore that in my courtroom. I said I did, you just did not read it.
And for some reason everything I did people wanted to call my Pastor. And they did about the shirt. And they were right, I should not have worn that shirt with that word.
Stand by the meaning.
And you are lucky, every time I do did something, people wanted to call my Pastor. Even D-3 Commissioner Ricky Herring called my pastor on me.
And I loved my pastor BEFORE people called him, WHEN people called him, and AFTER people called him.
I finally left the church so he could have a break from having a member such as I. Seems everyone wanted to call the Pastor when I made them mad.
LET ME BE CLEAR, I LOVED MY PASTORS WHEN AT THE CHURCH
AND AFTER AT THE CHURCH
AND LOVE HIM NOW THAT I LEFT THE CHURCH.
WAS THERE FROM 1987 UNTIL A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO
AND DID THE SOUND FOR 30 YEARS.
I WOULD FIGHT YOU FOR HIM, CARE FOR HIM, AND SUPPORT HIM.
- BUT -
AIN’T NOW WAY WE WERE GONNA AGREE ON SUPPORTING
RICKY HERRING
AS A HOUSTON COUNTY COMMISSIONER
- and -
I LOVE THE PASTOR AT THE CHURCH I AM IN NOW.
WHY did I say that? The shirt was not the reason D-3 Commissioner Ricky Herring called my Pastor. But the shirt I wore had one word in it that I should not have worn the shirt.
To the yong man in the white truck in Hartford, your message is right on, just the word is not.
