PIKE - MONTGOMERY CO AL:      About 10:16 PM this evening TEXT RICKEY STOKES 334-790-1729 received pictures and information on something going on between Troy and Montgomery.


Haynes Lifeflight landed and both the south and north bound lanes of traffic on Highway 231 were at a complete stop.


The Haynes Lifeflight landed on Highway 231 directly beside the traveling motorist who were at a standstill. A patient was placed directly into the air helicopter and flown from the scene.


UNCONFIRMED BY AUTHORITIES but the information is a motor vehicle struck the rear of a semi trailer.


The injured is reported to be in serious condition.


ALEA - Troopers are investigating. Difficult on a Saturday evening to get information and details.
