BONIFAY - On June 15, 2021, a deputy from HCSO got behind a vehicle on Hwy 177-A and the vehicle abruptly turned into a residence that was abandoned.

The deputy followed the vehicle into the property due to it being abandoned.  The driver of the vehicle later identified as Jacqueline L. Paul from Chipley, exited the vehicle and went to the rear of the residence where the deputy observed her throw something.

Paul could not tell the deputy why she was at the residence and stated that she lived in Chipley.  The deputy was able to locate the item that Paul threw, and it was found to be a plastic bag containing meth.  Paul was placed under arrest and charged with possession of meth, and trespassing.
