Holmes County Sheriff’s Reference to a Report of a Possible Deceased Person

The Holmes County Sheriff’s Office responded to the area of Corinth Road and Elmo Lane shortly before 9 a.m. Thursday, November 14, in reference to a report of a possible deceased person.


Investigators determined a white male lying near the roadway to be deceased; however, the death appears to be of natural causes.


The Medical Examiner’s Office has been contacted and is en-route to the scene. Identification of the man is being withheld until notification to his next of kin can be made.
