HOUSTON COUNTY:     Dothan-Houston County Emergency Management Director Chris Judah announces road closures in the county:

Please be advised of the following road closures due to excessive water: 

County Road 81 at Bazemore Mill Rd

Antioch Church road between Coot Adams Rd and Rocky Creek Rd

Decatur Road in Madrid at the Railroad crossing

Harvest Lane

Waddell Road at Lewis Rd

State Hwy 605 at Paulk 

These roads will be open as soon as possible, anticipated sometime tomorrow, September 17th.

In addition, the following locations will be closed to traffic until further notice:

Gin Road due to an undermined cross drain

7300 Block of S. Park Ave due to a washout

Day Road at furnie Jackson road is now closed until further notice.
