During these burglaries the suspect(s) had targeted unlocked vehicles that were parked at the victim’s residence during the night. Stolen were firearms, cash/coins, electronic equipment, and other items.

On May 8th 2019, Investigators with the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office were notified by the Bay County Sheriff’s Office that they had arrested an individual identified as Desmond Royster, for several vehicle burglaries that had occurred in Bay County.  Through the course of the investigation that day, Investigators learned that Royster had numerous stolen items inside the vehicle that he was arrested on in Bay County, Fl.

Some of these items were linked back to several of the vehicle burglaries that occurred Jackson County, at the above noted streets and locations.  Evidence in the vehicle linked Royster as being directly involved in the vehicle burglaries that had occurred in Jackson County. Royster was arrested and placed into the Bay County Jail on charges filed by the Bay County Sheriff’s Office.
