DOTHAN - HOUSTON COUNTY:

NOW IS THE TIME

FOR ALL GOOD MEN AND WOMEN

TO COME TO THE AID

This message is primary to:

Dothan Mayor and Associate Commissioners; Houston County Commission Chairman; Houston County Commissioners; Alabama State Senator Donnie Chesteen; Alabama State Representative Paul Lee, Steve Clouse, Jeff Sorrells, Dexter Grimsley; 20th Judicial Circuit District Attorney Pat Jones; Speaker of the House for the Alabama Legislature; Lieutenant Governor; Alabama Attorney General;

To all citizens of all 582 square miles of Houston County which includes all incorporated municipalities and unincorporated municipalities within the borders of the 582 square miles of Houston County.

To all of the business community, employers and employees, leaders of the community to include schools, churches, civic organizations, leaders of diverse groups of all races and sexes…

YOUR TIME IS NOW

The first paragraph of people listed need to immediately hold a press conference, and sign a resolution of support that each of them are unwavering in their support of Dothan Police Chief Will Benny, Houston County Sheriff Donald Valenza, all Police Chief’s of Incorporated municipalities in Houston County, ALEA Secretary Hal Taylor, in enforcing the laws of this State.

That in support, the law enforcement officers will be respectful, but have to be firm in their enforcement of the laws. To take the guns from those who can not legally own them or possess them, not from lawful owners but those who possess illegally.

These officials and the citizens will not stand for the “few” to cause havoc when these law enforcement leaders and officers put their foots down firmly. And each of those in paragraph 1 will not waiver on their support.

These law enforcement agencies are swamped with calls each day they work. They need more officers on the streets, probably another 40 to 50 and pay which equals their peers in other communities.

Dothan Police Chief Will Benny and Houston County Sheriff Donald Valenza, and ALEA local command staff have been working to maintain control but they need help.

People need to be watchful and willing to provide information to law enforcement officers. When there are incidents or shootings law enforcement officers have problems with witnesses coming forth and telling them the truth.

If you do not trust someone to give the information to, if you trust me send it to me at 334-790-1729, [email protected] or call me. I never reveal sources. This is not meant to get me in the loop of information, but we have to come together as a community and walk beside these law enforcement leaders.

If anyone of the people listed in paragraph 1 fail to stand behind Dothan Police Chief Will Benny and Houston County Sheriff Donald Valenza along with ALEA Secretary Hal Taylor in a local press conference, I am talking these in a semi circle behind these three, then this next year as most come up for re-election DO NOT vote for them.

Following the shooting on Grant Street where three people were shot tonight to include a three year old child, Grant Street in at Grandview Elementary School, this is some calls Dothan Police responded to:

Junaluska Avenue - gunshots fired towards a residence, reports are six shots, vehicle occupied by three people;

Cathy Lou Road - shots fired;

Horseshoe Loop - shots fired;

These calls are daily.

No one has faith in those listed in paragraph one that they have the backbone to stand up, place their names on a resolution in support in our law enforcement commanders, to do their job with 100% support of each person listed in paragraph one. But I will call you out, one by one if you fail to do so.

The law enforcement commanders are doing all they can do with the troops they have. But it is time for your full commitment and support or the next victim, their blood is on each and every one of you listed in paragraph 1 and the entire community.

It is up to Dothan Mayor Mark Saliba and Houston County Commission Chairman Mark Culver and Alabama State Representative Paul Lee to organize this with those listed standing behind these three gentleman. And to Matt Parker of Dothan Area Chamber of Commerce for the business community and I do not know who in the religious community, but folks I am telling you, this must be done.

We have the right leadership of law enforcement in place. They need your total support of your backing and your financial backing. And this is immediate.

The next victim is on you!
