DOTHAN - HOUSTON COUNTY AL:    On YOUTUBE some video articles appear called “Long Island Audit”. These are videos where a group of people go around and video in government buildings.

I do not agree with going around and taunting the government officials with cameras. There are times when someone “must” use a camera in order to achieve a certain goal. But not going and trying to make them react for no real reason.

RSN has done that before and I expect it will be done in the future. Some people can not stand up to government staff who, the government staff, think they can run over someone. 

In my work, I serve papers. Some of those papers can include legal court documents, subpoenas, or documents which must be served on someone for a specific purpose.

The following is an example in the City of Dothan Alabama which involved the Dothan Housing Authority.

A resident with a mental issue, TPA, which was caused when he was a child and he was struck in the head with a hammer. He gets anxiety when pressured and placed in certain situations. But when talking to him, he can easily be calmed down and you have to explain to him situations and what can and can not be done.

One day when in my office he learned a gentleman was going to police academy to become a police officer. This young man stood up, saluted him, pulled his cap off, shook his hand and told him thank you for his service. 

The Dothan Housing Authority had issues with him. One of my bondsman was helping him and he had Legal Services represent him. I attended the ZOOM conference with legal counsel for Dothan Housing Authority. It was known I was present. It was agreed that the gentleman would not go to the offices of Dothan Housing Authority but my bondsman would deal with them.

This gentleman had a certified check sent for his rent. My bondsman quit so it was dumped in my hands. Dothan Housing Authority returned his rent check along with a bill for over $ 500.00. I placed his rent check in a sealed envelope along with a letter requesting a detail breakdown of what the bill was for. I sealed the envelope with tape, addressed the person responsible on the envelope and hand delivered it to the Dothan Housing Authority main office.

A lady was there and asked if this was legal material and I informed something I needed to deliver it. I asked for her name, she took the envelope, turned and walked into a office and never provided her name. When she turned around I took her photo and labeled it with the date and time papers were served. This was not done to intimidate but done as a record of who the envelope was delivered to.

Each month thereafter, at night after the Dothan Housing Authority Office was closed, I would deliver the rent check and placed it in the after hours drop box.

Dothan Housing Authority would send it back and constantly was posting notices on this persons door. Finally came a Eviction Notice.

I got a lawyer to represent this man because he had been discriminated against. Because his lease had expired there was not much legal ground for this man to have. The attorney representing Dothan Housing Authority is from Huntsville because apparently all attorneys in Dothan are to stupid to represent the Dothan Housing Authority. 

The attorney asked for a order for this man not to be allowed to come to the offices of Dothan Housing Authority Office and asked the same for myself. The Judge information this Huntsville Attorney he had no jurisdiction over me.

With myself, I was very nice when I asked for her name. She refused. So the picture was to document who I served. And from then on my visits were after hours.

The charter of the Dothan Housing Authority states they serve mental issues and they receive federal funds to do so.

Sometimes you have to use cameras to obtain hard physical evidence. As soon as I get time, Dothan Housing Authority does not appear to be honest and fair serving to the community. And they have mistreated this man.
