Lynn Haven Make Arrest For Molestation

Lynn Haven Police, today announced the arrest of a (37) year old Panama City Beach man on a felony charge of Lewd or Lascivious Molestation involving a child under the age of (12). Pursuant to a joint law enforcement effort, Steven Russell Sipes was arrested without incident on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at his home. Sipes is alleged to have inappropriately touched, kissed, fondled and molested a child under the age of (12) in a sexual manner on more than one occasion over a two-three year period.
Sipes, who had been displaced from his former Lynn Haven residence had been being sought by police on a warrant for his arrest. Lynn Haven Police were assisted by the Bay County Sheriffs Office, the Panama City Beach Police Department and the Florida Caribbean Regional Fugitive Task Force. Sipes was transported to the Bay County Jail, where he is being held on a $250,000.00 bond.
The Lynn Haven Police Department was also assisted in this investigation by the Greensburg, Indiana Police Department and the Children’s Advocacy Center of Southeastern Indiana. Chief Ricky Ramie would like to recognize and thank each of these agencies for their invaluable assistance in bringing this case to a successful conclusion.
