Man Arrested on Felony Warrants Found with Trafficking Amounts of Fentanyl and Meth in Pockets

Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office deputies serving a felony warrant
on a Crestview man wanted by another agency for aggravated stalking
added five OCSO charges after he was found with fetanyl,
methamphetamine, and cocaine.
Deputies on patrol near School Avenue around 7 p.m. Wedneday
made contact with 47-year old Jerry Blackshear, who they knew had
felony warrants. Blackshear refused to comply with commands to put
his hands behind his back and tried to flee. Once he was caught
deputies found 52 grams of meth, nine grams of fentanyl, and cocaine
in his pockets, along with jewelers bags containing fentanyl.
Charges include trafficking in fentanyl, trafficking in
methamphetamine, possession of cocaine, resisting an officer, and
possession of drug paraphernalia
