Man Arrested on Multiple Charges

On September 18, 2019, Officers with the Marianna Police Department were dispatched to Holly Hills Apartments in reference to a physical altercation..
Upon arrival, Officer met with the victim, who stated that Kerby Jennings had been served with an Injunction for Protection earlier in the day. After he was served, he forced his way into the residence, damaging the back door. Once inside he stuck the victim and destroyed the television.
Officers located Kerby Jennings on Penn Ave near Long Street where he was arrested. During a search incident to arrest, Kerby Jennings was found to be in possession of a small amount of Cocaine.
Kerby Jennings was transported to the Jackson County Correction Facility to await first appearance on charges of Violating an Injunction, Burglary, Battery, Criminal Mischief and possession of Cocaine.
