Ozark:  As Carl Harris, Jr. was to go on trial for the murder of his wife new evidence was found that would prove he did not kill his wife.

This case occurred in 1990 and went cold for over 25 years, then new leads were found and the case that gave it life once again. The DA’s Office with the help of the Ozark Police Department and ALEA investigators were able to locate the witness for interviews.

After interviewing the new witness Dale County District Attorney Kirk Adams filed a motion to dismiss the case against Carl Harris. A new suspect has been located, charged and has confessed to killing Mrs. Harris in 1990.
