A Pensacola man who thought he had arranged a meeting to buy 250 grams of cocaine
instead found himself under arrest by the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office for trafficking
in cocaine and using a two way communication device to facilitate a felony.
40-year old Donald Reco Butler of West Lloyd Street was arrested after traveling to
Okaloosa County February 12th with $6000 cash to make the purchase. Butler later told
investigators he thought he was purchasing a large amount of marijuana, however based on
street prices, that claim did not correlate to the large amount of money he was paying.
