Marianna Police Department Will Be Conducting a Safety and Sobriety Checkpoint

As part of the Marianna Police Department’s proactive efforts to reduce traffic crashes and fatalities while drivers are intoxicated, the Marianna Police Department will be conducting a Safety and Sobriety Checkpoint on Saturday, August 17th, 2019. The checkpoint will be conducted on Highway 73 South. This is part of the Marianna Police Department’s “Operation Sober City” initiative.
Chief Hayes Baggett would like to remind motorist to slow down, don’t text and drive, and drive sober. The Marianna Police Department will have zero tolerance for motorist who drink and drive.
