Marianna Police Need help on Stolen Vehicles

On January 15th, 2020 officers with the Marianna Police Department responded to Southside Apartments in reference to a vehicle theft. It was reported to officers that sometime between the hours of 10:00pm and 6:00am, a 2015 Ford Escape, blue in color, was stolen from within the apartment complex. It was reported that the vehicle was unsecured at the time of the theft. Photographs and vehicle information are below in reference to the stolen vehicle.


 On this same date, officers responded to Spring Gate Manor, which neighbors Southside Apartments. There were four reports of vehicle burglaries within Spring Gate Manor. All vehicle burglaries were the result of unlocked and unsecured vehicles.


 Also on this date, officers responded to Cottondale Village Apartments in reference to vehicle burglaries. These were also the result of unlocked vehicles.


 These incidents are being investigated by the Marianna Police Department. At this time, no forcible entry into vehicles have been reported. If you or someone you know has any information in reference to any of the above incidents, you are urged to contact the Marianna Police Department at 850-526-3125 or Chipola Crimestoppers at 850-526-5000.  If you see this vehicle, contact your local law enforcement agency or the Marianna Police Department. Do not attempt to approach the vehicle.


Chief Baggett urges citizens to secure their vehicles and remove any valuables from the vehicle. Chief Baggett also encourages citizens that if they see something, say something and not to hesitate to call the Marianna Police Department to report any suspicious activity.
