METH SEIZED DURING TRAFFIC STOP

WASHINGTON COUNTY, FL:A Chipley woman is behind bars in less than three weeks after a traffic stop yields methamphetamine.
At approximately 10:45 p.m. last night, a Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy initiated a traffic stop on Jefferson Street in Wausau. Deputies made contact with the driver, 46-year-old Sharmin Ann Corbin. During the stop, a department issued K-9 was deployed and positively alerted on the vehicle, indicating the presence of narcotics.
A search was conducted and Corbin was found to be in possession of a glass smoking pipe and a bag containing methamphetamines.
Corbin was arrested and transported to the Washington County Jail on charges of possession of a methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
