Mobile Police Seeking Tips In Homicide

SEEKING TIPS IN HOMICIDE: MPD needs the public’s help to solve the homicide that occurred at the Pride Gas Station, 1910 St. Stephens Road, on Sunday, May 10. Anyone with information regarding the homicide is asked to contact police.


At approximately 8:24 p.m., police responded to the parking lot of the gas station in reference to a shooting. Upon arrival, officers discovered that a 28-year-old man, later identified as Ricky Kidd, and a 26-year-old man had both been transported to the hospital to be treated for gunshot wounds. Kidd died as a result of his injury. The 26 year old is expected to survive.
